The Newborn Experience
Let me take all the stress away. I will tip-toe into your home and document those precious little moments that occur in those first few days of having a new baby. Helping capture this special moment that seems to be gone in a blink of an eye. Before you know it, your newborn will be walking and their little feet and hands won’t be so little anymore. These are the details you may forget as time goes on, and that is why it is so important to capture them early on so you can look back at this beautiful time.
I will deliver beautiful images of you and your family in your home, as well as individuals of just the baby alone and their beautiful and unique details.
Your baby will be treated as if it was my own in this time, with utmost love and care.
Your Home.
These sessions will take place in your home, although with some notice I do have studio options available. Outdoor newborn sessions are also welcome. For your home, I only need one window and one room to create these images. You do not need a magazine-worthy home. I bring a few props and we may use some memorable items you have at your home also at your request. Friendly pets are more than welcome to join.
The Wardrobe.
For in-home newborn sessions, I always recommend comfort and simplicity. You will have access to my client closet with a few beautiful yet simple dresses that work great for in-homes. As always, I will guide you on styling based on your vision for your session, wether that’s simple dresses or jeans and cute sweaters.
I have the baby covered with beautiful wraps and outfits, so you don’t have to worry about purchasing items for your newborn that may only be used once.
The Process.
I will hold your hand through this process. It is best to contact me early in your 2nd trimester to make sure I can book your newborn session in. Sessions last about 1 1/2-2 hours and we will take breaks when needed to make sure all of the babies needs are met. A few days after the session, I will send you a link so you can view your images as a family, and choose the ones you would like, or purchase the whole lot if you cannot choose!
